Gotta go out in style ...Week 11 in Lapeer

Detroit on our last weeks preparation day was amazing. We started off by going to an abandoned factory, it closed down in the 1950's. It was so sweet to see what it used to be and then see all the modern graffiti. After that we headed into downtown Detroit and played some Basketball and then shopped at some shops and I bought a cool Detroit hat. It is sweet, Detroit was amazing and I also had the opportunity to see CANADA! On our way back home we stopped in and bought Chick-fil-A for dinner. it was great, loved it. That night we taught the restoration to a member family, it was great and the spirit was there.

Elder Wolfe's last full day, gotta go out in style. Today me and him talked to 40+ people combined it was crazy, we had basically the whole day to contact so we did. For dinner we had Hamburgers at a members home and it was great and so filling but that was Elder Wolfe's last day talking to people and eating lots of hamburgers.

Early this morning we saw Micheal off. I am using his first name as he is going bye now. We went to District meeting and that was great, lots of discussion. Then we stopped by a less active and then contacting.

Thursday we did service in the morning after our two lessons failed us then we taught a member the restoration and it was great. He is only a young adult but is a recent convert and he is on fire, cool to see him.

Friday in the afternoon we went down and offered service to a person who has reached out to us and we are hopefully going to begin teaching. There are some initial hangups but we will see, then we went to the soup kitchen and that was legit, I love to serve there. Then contacting and companion study.

Saturday was good. We talked to lots of people.

But Sunday was the best day of the week, probably the most spirit filled day of the week. Our schedule Sunday went as followed... we attended PEC then Church, Lunch, member visit, travel, member visit, stop by someone, Dinner (baked asparagus with a pork chop) travel member visit, travel, member visit and teach the plan of salvation and then companion study. We taught members the whole day and ended the day with like 100 miles driven. It was great to see the ward accept the invitations that we left with them on behalf of the stake and mission president. I hope this will continue to lead to an increased faith for the members to share the gospel. In preach my gospel on page 160 we read President Gordon B Hinckley taught " So many of us look upon missionary work as simply tracting. Everyone who is familiar with this work knows there is a better way. That way is through the members of the church. Whenever there is a member who introduces an investigator, there is an immediate support system."

Y'all have a blessed week.

Lots of Love
