On Tuesday we drove to pick up are new companion Elder Wolfe and that was great! We had to go to Port Huron to get him and that was odd, his stuff was put in the wrong car with other members of the district haha so after the confusion we finished off the day and met with M, our investigator. We had a great lesson and then went to visit less actives.
Wednesday we had district meeting and that went great. It made us realize what we need to change about keeping up to date records. We saw a referral who was legit CRAZY! She was like yelling at us because the government took her children, it was weird. Later that night it was pouring rain and we had dinner at our ward mission leaders home, it was taco night... YUM. After we saw more less actives.
On Thursday we volunteered at the Habitat and that was a great. We continued to help our investigator to baptism and that night we contacted and talked to tons of people!!
Friday was great, we planned and then offered service at the soup kitchen and it was a BLAST ! Then we did lots of contacting and it was a great night.
Saturday was tough. Our ward mission leader passed away last night and it was super sad, I loved him and his family. It was so sudden that we were all shocked, we had just seen him on Wednesday. Later we had to work some things out and then we finalized the day of our investigators baptism, its sick!! Sunday June 4th ...it will be awesome! The rest of that day we had some lessons and some contacting, so in general long and sad day.
Sunday was a blast. We had church service which was amazing, and also sad because of the loss of a member. That afternoon we split and Elder Meyer went to see our investigator M with the Bishop and me and Elder Wolfe contacted. Then we had Mexican at members home and we then went to Southfield for choir practice which was great!
